Start a Project

Let’s begin the conversation.

Every successful project begins with understanding. Our first conversation is simply an opportunity to learn about your organization, hear about your goals, answer your questions, and determine whether Good Harbor Vista is the right fit.

There is no obligation simply by reaching out.

What happens after you contact us?

A clear path forward—one thoughtful step at a time.

You will always know where the project stands, what comes next, and when your input is needed.

The first conversation

A conversation—not a sales presentation.

Our introductory meeting is a relaxed 30–45 minute conversation. We will learn about your organization, discuss your goals, answer questions, and explore whether working together makes sense.

No special preparation is required, and there is no obligation to move forward.

What we’ll need from you

Just enough to begin.

At this stage, a few basics are enough. More detailed information is gathered later through the Client Intake Form—after we both determine the project is a good fit.

  • 01Basic information about your organization
  • 02Your existing website, if you have one
  • 03The goals you hope a new website will support
  • 04A primary contact for the conversation
  • 05Any preferred timeline or important deadline

Frequently asked questions

A few answers before you reach out.

Beginning should feel simple. Here is what most organizations want to know first.

Is there any obligation?

No. Reaching out and having an introductory conversation does not obligate your organization to begin a project.

How long is the first meeting?

Plan for approximately 30–45 minutes. The meeting is conversational and focused on your organization, goals, and questions.

Should we prepare anything?

No special preparation is required. It helps to know your main website goals and to have your current website address available, if you have one.

Can we keep our existing website?

Yes. Your current website can remain available while the new site is planned and produced. Any migration needs are reviewed before work begins.

Can we keep our domain?

Yes. Your organization should retain ownership of its domain. Good Harbor Vista coordinates the technical connection when the new website is ready to launch.

Can we keep our email?

Usually, yes. Website and email services can often remain separate. We review the current setup carefully so changes do not unintentionally interrupt email.

When do we complete the Client Intake Form?

The detailed Client Intake Form comes after the introductory conversation and after both parties decide the project is a good fit.

How long does a typical project take?

Timing depends on scope, content readiness, technical access, and review availability. A realistic schedule is agreed upon before production begins.

What happens after launch?

Good Harbor Vista continues caring for the website through professional Website Stewardship so it remains secure, reliable, updated, and ready to support your mission.

Our commitment

Every organization deserves to feel heard.

Whether we ultimately work together or not, our goal is for every conversation to be helpful, informative, and respectful of your time.

Every meaningful partnership begins with a conversation. We’d love to learn about your organization, hear about the work you’re doing, and explore whether Good Harbor Vista is the right partner for your next chapter.
